Superman vs. Rick Sanchez: Multiverse Showdown in MultiVersus Comic!

Get Ready for a Showdown! Superman vs. Rick Sanchez: The Multiverse Collides!

The Ultimate Battle of Brains and Brawn: Superman Takes on Rick Sanchez!

Hold onto your hats, comic book fans! We're about to witness a clash for the ages – an epic showdown between two titans of their respective universes: DC's Superman, arguably the most powerful superhero ever, and Rick and Morty's Rick Sanchez, the self-proclaimed smartest man in the multiverse! And believe it or not, this interstellar throwdown is kicking off in the pages of MultiVersus: Collision Detected #3 (by Bryan Q. Miller and Jon Sommariva)!

This isn't some fan-made fantasy. This epic conflict officially begins thanks to a crazy crossover comic where many famous Warner Bros. characters get sucked into the DC Universe. This already involves those nutty and absolutely unforgettable characters like Bugs BunnyScooby-Doo, and even the Wicked Witch of the West. It continues to expand when Rick Sanchez arrives! That is quite an addition! We are given only this specific sneak peek into what that opening act truly presents.

Rick's First Move: Hijacking Brainiac's Tech!

MultiVersus: Collision Detected #3 presents some pretty insane situations, showcasing various unexpected encounters: We’re looking at some major heavy hitters:  Green LanternHawkgirl, and even that cute little guy who always has this massive glowing gem, some crazy miniaturized Dark Knight…and Brainiac's modified ship – but in this case; the insane and almost-totally-unexpected plot twist; this insane vehicle and device becomes the basis for Rick’s incredibly smart plans!

This amazing summary is exactly how it should've been described: Rick manages to hijack Brainiac’s insane tech, transforming that massive ship into his own likeness and this alone demonstrates exactly what is to come! In classic Rick fashion, the totally uncaring, alcoholic genius uses Brainiac's tech to launch an insane attack against DC's heroes: it shows us his ruthless, yet pragmatic tactics. This serves as a very clear initial point in establishing just exactly how big and impactful the challenges might become and these initial plans alone already present the basis for those unexpected surprises later on!

Superman's raw power is way beyond Rick's. (Anyone who follows those Death Battle showdowns involving Goku and Superman already knows this!). Yet, this does not diminish Rick.  He's unbelievably creative! He battled elder gods, and wiped out entire galactic empires! He invents weapons on the fly—a huge advantage!

Superman's nearly indestructible? His feats are frankly unbelievable! Those legendary punches that send ripples across dimensions, dragging galaxies into new positions; that totally insane level of power (he once destroyed an entire solar system simply by sneezing!) means even Rick's weapons (those ones acquired via hijacking Brainiac) seem completely pointless. So what's Superman's trick? He'd have to quickly land a killer blow; finishing this before Rick creates something insane. This is a fight that only relies upon unpredictable responses. Anything can happen, but that key element is a necessity that only relies upon very specific factors to produce that particular winner.

Rick's Apathetic Strategy: Will He Even Try to Win?

Here's the unexpected twist! While the comic book preview totally establishes that Rick is incredibly dangerous to the DC Universe, it mentions Rick “couldn’t be bothered” to remain and see the encounter to its ultimate conclusion. This almost apathy suggests his plans weren't completely geared toward lasting destruction but to achieve this insane plan for completely selfish motivations – for the thrill alone! The possibilities remain completely undefined!

It's very, very important for those familiar with Rick’s general attitudes that he does not act purely with chaotic desires alone; those underlying characteristics, his apathy toward things unrelated to his personal gratification and desires remain key characteristics. He wouldn't actually need to waste effort toward creating this super-powerful Kryptonite weapon if that wasn’t even something worth doing; showcasing once again that he is entirely self-focused.

It could totally change how this whole encounter goes! A brief cameo and swift exit implies little motivation for him and less of a confrontation against Superman. Instead of this huge all-out brawl that people would want; those assumptions aren't always necessarily valid, this becomes clear in these plot developments that show a surprise in both direction and approach taken.

Superman versus Rick Sanchez? This crossover really is insane. We get hints through this small peek from those previews shown:  this insane combination promises amazing moments, both unexpected and impossible to fully predict even without fully reading the entire thing; there's always potential surprises in store for viewers.

Will Rick create that ultimate Kryptonite weapon to quickly take down Superman? Will the battle go long?  All that will come to pass after the full release of MultiVersus: Collision Detected #3 (October 16th, 2024)! This alone is the primary thing driving up the anticipation and creating curiosity for everyone!
