This is big news! Raven is showing off a power level no one could have predicted, and she's become an Agent of Destruction as Raven Ultimate Form!
In DC Comics, Raven is one of the most well-known Teen Titans. This magical, emotive DC Universe metahuman is a fascinating and complex hero, and a major reason why she's considered Nightwing greatest leader! As a Trigon Daughter, Raven is often battling her demonic nature! She even made a major appearance in the series, Titans Worst-Case Scenario. The events that occurred had far-reaching implications!
This is an important part of Raven's history! The Dark-Winged Queen was foreshadowed back in the Teen Titans arc "The Terror of Trigon" (found in Teen Titans #3) a long time ago! It took several issues from the series to bring this into the main storyline. Even now, there are some new storylines featuring a shocking and compelling new form that's sure to excite Dark-Winged Queen fans.
We saw Dark-Winged Queen Foreshadowing in "Titans #8", and Dark-Winged Queen Made Real in "Titans #14" after it was suggested she could take this form in Titans #10. Fans know that her potential as a hero is incredibly high. But now she's also tapping into that darker potential! Raven Demonic Potential has taken an incredible turn. This was fueled when she gained even more powers through a major change in Titans #14 where she absorbed her brother's strength and even the powerful entity Spectre Absorbed to gain the Dark-Winged Queen Form.
With the potential to dominate DC Comics, Raven has proven she is an even more powerful DC Universe metahuman! Now, the world needs the Titans to pull off a miracle needed if they want to prevail in the face of destruction. She may even become Trigon Lieutenant to help carry out a terrible End of the World.
Fans of the Teen Titans series know that Raven and the others have come out victorious from many of Trigon's assaults! The powers of Raven's new form are unprecedented, and will likely require more than even Titans Deepest Nightmares, or a combined team effort from other heroes to defeat!
It is clear the story is taking exciting new twists! The events from "Titans #14", which released back on Aug 14th, are just one new chapter. The fight continues in "Titans #14"!
