Miles Morales (And It's Not Spider-Gwen!) Kingpin's surprising best friend.

Miles Morales of Kingpin and Earth-616 have a lengthy history.

Though generally Miles Morales and Peter Parker have a decent friendship, that hasn't always been the case. The two are still living in different worlds when they eventually cross in Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli's Spider-Men from 2012. Peter partners with Miles to return home after being carried to the Ultimate Universe. Peter saw personally how Peter Parker from the Ultimate Universe motivated others after giving his life. Peter starts to question if his universe also features a Miles Morales when he gets home. He searches online, though, and comes nowhere.

Kingpin, it turns out, deleted all proof Miles existed. Following their joint arrival in the Rigoletto Crime Family, Fisk and Morales became really close and even start a restaurant together. Miles decides he wants to retire to live quietly with Barbara when he finds the love of his life. Kingpin enables this for his old friend. Once Barbara passes away, he is back there for Miles, telling him the multiverse exists. Miles thus sets out to find a reality in which Barbara is still alive, a quest that lands him directly before the younger Miles Morales.

Wilson Fisk, sometimes known as the Kingpin, has established a strong name for himself as one of Marvel's best villains; yet, he wouldn't have achieved that without the assistance of Miles Morales, his best buddy.

Among Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Kamala Khan, Miles has a sizable family and solid friend support network. But Marvel's multiverse is vast and varied, and the Miles Morales of Marvel's main Earth-616 is quite different from the juvenile Spider-Man of Brooklyn. Originally from Marvel's Ultimate Universe, where he adopted the Spider-Man identity following the death of his universe's Peter Parker, the Miles Morales that fans know and love emerged from Following the demise of the Ultimate Universe, Miles was subsequently moved to the normal Earth-616 Marvel Universe. He was unaware, though, that this universe already included a Miles Morales of their own. And Miles most surely is not a hero. Miles befriended the future Kingpin after first meeting a young Wilson Fisk in prison and finally saving his life. Together, their friendship would propel them both upward in the criminal underworld to occupy highly influential roles.

Miles Morales is preparing to demonstrate he is more than just another Spider-Man now he has a handle on who he is.

Miles Morales and His Earth-617 Counterpart Do NOT Get Along

Peter Parker and Miles Morales (now residing in the 616 universe) in 2017's Spider-Men II by Bendis and Pichelli notice the older Morales's search to meet with the love of his life. Eventually confronting his namesake, the young Spider-Man seeks to prevent him from passing through a portal into the Ultimate Universe. The adult Miles doesn't care when the youthful Miles removes his disguise to show his identity. He leaves to be with Barbara after firing his younger equivalent in the shoulder. A few years later, the two Miles Moraleses cross paths as the older Miles makes his way back to Earth-617. Miles assumes the supervillain Ultimatum in Saladin Ahmed and Javier GarrĂ³n's Miles Morales: Spider-Man #10 and seeks his old friend Wilson regarding takeover of Brooklyn's streets. Fisk, the Mayor of New York City now, agrees to assist his friend. Ultimatum attempts to seize Brooklyn and also transport the young Miles back to the Ultimate Universe using resources from Fisk, along with an army of Miles clones and the Green Goblin of the Ultimate Universe.

Has not been seen since 2021's Miles Morales: Spider-Man #21 by Saladin Ahmed and Marcelo Ferreira. Ultimatum is eventually defeated and returned to the Ultimate Universe. Wilson Fisk went on the run after being removed from mayor and then returned to respectable society, where he now holds a new role of White King of the Hellfire Club. Thus, should Miles Morales's original Earth-616 incarnation ever return to his own universe, his good friend Kingpin will be in a position to assist him in recovering.

Move Over, Spider-Gwen: The Kingpin (Seriously) Miles Morales's REAL Best Friend

Though Wilson Fisk, sometimes known as the Kingpin, has established a strong name for himself as one of Marvel's best villains, he wouldn't have been able to achieve that without Miles Morales, his best buddy. Miles Morales is getting set to prove he is more than just another Spider-Man now he has a handle on who he is.

Several people who have used a spider-moniker throughout Marvel Comics are known as Spider-Man.

Usually acquiring their powers from a bite of a radioactive spider, the several Spider-Man heroes use webbing to swing and tangle their enemies using super-strength, agility, and intelligence. Among these Spider-Men, Peter Parker is the most well-known and still among the most often used superheroes worldwide.

Popular additions to the Marvel Universe, Miles Morales has shown himself to be a deserving successor to the legacy of Spider-Man. Miles has demonstrated that he is just as suited for being a hero, even if his origin story is somewhat different from Peter Parker.
