Get ready, Star Wars fanatics! Marvel Comics is launching a brand-new canonical series starring the infamous Kylo Ren! This epic series, Star Wars: Legacy of Vader, picks up directly after The Last Jedi. He came very, very close to killing his mom, got his heart broken by Rey, failed to utterly crush the Resistance, and killed Snoke before losing his battle to his former master Luke Skywalker. He also totally offed his father before all that crazy madness and his final decision really sets everything that’s yet to transpire, all highlighted in those crucial endings. All those seriously huge traumas! Talk about emotional baggage, the potential for emotional issues created by this troubled family really has so many plot developments inherent.

This new series will follow Kylo as he navigates his newly-earned leadership role within the First Order, shown in this new artwork where he interacts with Darth Vader’s melted mask— which provides him a sense of guidance – making it far more obvious how deep that intense need for connection really is and how his desire to fulfill his grandfather’s goals truly shapes the character.

This series has another major event planned; Kylo’s visits Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar. Those visits; and any interaction he might have are hugely unexplored–those possibilities within his exploration of Vader's castle are some major points that viewers are eager to learn more about. The series shows another interesting plot point; bringing about the mysterious character, The Eye of Webbish Bog. These encounters never showed up before and greatly enhance the scope, building on that mysterious element from those various other places where the same events and character already had appearances!
