Jujutsu Kaisen is focused about demonstrating how, despite lack of inherent ability, diligence can transform one into a hero. Characters without cursed energy, such as Maki and Toji, can fight like mad anyway.
Gojo has incredible potential, but the show stresses that depending solely on natural ability is insufficient. Yuji is a really excellent example. Though he's not as naturally gifted as Gojo, he worked hard and battered Sukuna.
Thus, even if Gojo is quite strong, the show wants us to realize that diligence is equally vital than innate aptitude.
A really strange scenario, Yuta assumed Gojo's body to battle Sukuna. He finds it difficult to use Gojo's motions. Like attempting to replicate the motions of a professional athlete. You cannot accomplish it without much of experience.
Yuta understands Gojo has been working toward that level for years of training. Though you have Gojo's body, it makes logical that copying is difficult. Gojo put quite a lot of effort into his talents.
Though Gojo seems to be coasting, he is really quite committed! He tells everyone he practices every day to become proficient in his methods. He is not simply any hapless man born with extraordinary ability. He has worked on this!
He knows that being the best requires more than just natural ability even if he possesses the strongest powers in the show.
Gojo's strength comes from his own commitment as much as from his family's outstanding skills. Gojo has worked hard to get where he is, but he has got it good with the Six Eyes and Limitless. He earned it, not just natural born!
He has worked his butt off even though he finds such skills easy. Not only his abilities but also his strength comes from this.
Jujutsu Kaisen is more about the trip than about the end point. Hard effort will help you to be a hero even if you are not born with the best talents. The series aims to present us with that.
Yuji is a really excellent example. Though he is not inherently as strong as other characters, he has worked and grown stronger. He is not any hapless random child who happened to be lucky. He is a true hero, earned by this!
