Although Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine already features a comic-accurate look for Wolverine, a new fan-made edit has made his suit and styling even more akin to his Marvel Comics equivalent. Early set pictures from Deadpool & Wolverine verified that Hugh Jackman would at last be sporting a comic-accurate costume in the MCU. With his comic-accurate, yellow-and-blue superhero suit, this marks the first time Wolverine has been seen in live-action; yet, this might be carried much farther.
Hugh Jackman's new Wolverine costume still isn't precisely how it is in the comic source material, even while Wolverine will be sporting his most comic-accurate live-action suit ever in Deadpool & Wolverine. But Dave Franciosa's new fan-made cut highlights what this more comic-accurate suit would look like in Deadpool & Wolverine. Dave Franciosa sees Wolverine with his sleeveless suit with shoulder pads intact, his claws trimmed, his boot hemlines lengthened, and he has been blessed with his famous swept-back haircut. It would be fantastic to see live-action this more savage form of Wolverine.
When Hugh Jackman initially debuted as James "Logan" Howlett's Wolverine in 2000's X-Men, 20th Century Fox might have been concerned about the audience of the time would not have taken well to the vibrant and occasionally absurd comic-accurate designs of the X-Men team. Rather, the live-action X-Men wore black leather outfits that endured the whole original X-Men trilogy, and jokes were even made about the fanciful character comic-accurate clothing possessed. Though at the time this made sense, it was still a shame.
A deleted sequence from 2013's The Wolverine was the closest Fox came to provide Wolverine his comic-accurate outfit. In the wake of The Avengers and the MCU's rise in popularity, Fox may have believed audiences would be more receptive to seeing the X-Men in their classic, colorful Marvel Comics designs, but this never actually came to fruition on-screen, except for the modernized, dark designs at the end of X-Men: Apocalypse. Though even this has been muted for the MCU, Marvel Studios will at last provide Wolverine his comic-accurate superhero outfit in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Marvel Universe aficionados have been begging for an accurate reproduction of the X-Men's legendary attire for years. But the comic book series has been rife with problems and bad creative choices, notably the early X-Men films' leather use. Marvel is clearly pushing forward with a new version of the X-Men given the popularity of the MCU, and the costumes will surely have a major influence on public reception of the Movies.
The MCU may benefit from the X-Men's design modifications toward something more comic-accurate. Although the X-Men have appeared in many films, TV series, and video games, their clothes have been unevenly adapted. With the X-Men's legendary attire, the new age of the comic book series could be a welcome shift. Though it's not certain if the Marvel team would follow a full comic book, given the popularity of the MCU right now, this could be a wise move.

Despite the obviously fanciful narratives and superpowers, Marvel Studios has done an amazing job of fostering reality in the MCU. Though Deadpool & Wolverine is proving that a Marvel Comics-inspired Wolverine costume can be just as effective, so hopefully the rest of the MCU's X-Men team will follow suit. Wolverines's comic-accurate big hair, giant shoulder-pads, and hemmed boots would break the illusion of disbelief for the audience.
