Black Suit & Blood Revisits One of Spidey's Greatest Periods
Marvel's announcement offers viewers a hint of what the first issue of the miniseries might hold. First of all, writer J.M. DeMatteis will revisit his venerable tale, "Kraven's Last Hunt." Before adopting the black suit for himself, Kraven the Hunter seemed to kill off Spider-Man in 1987 arc. DeMatteis will present "an unforgiving story that sheds light on an iconic scene" with artist Elena Casagrande.
Having run six-year stint on The Amazing Spider-Man, writer J. Michael Straczynski will team up with artist Sumit Kumar for a tale that "rips Peter Parker's (and the Symbiote's) heart out!" "Waiting for the right moment to tear Spidey down!" the narrative will expose a last remnant of the symbiote that has stayed with Peter for years. Author and artist Dustin Nguyen will lastly present a "spine-chilling story about Spider-Man being persecuted. But how can he hope to flee when the danger arises from within?
Marvel is reliving the darkest period of Spider-Man's life.
Marvel is reliving the darkest period of Spider-Man's existence with a horrific new series taking place during his time sporting his classic black outfit. Marvel's well-known Black, White & Blood label will handle publication of this fresh anthology series. The several Black, White & Blood series, as their names imply, each center on certain individuals and create dramatic black, white, and crimson color schemes with varied—and violent—stories.
Marvel has now revealed that, with the all-new Spider-Man: Black Suit & Blood miniseries, Spidey is the next hero to undergo this treatment. Complementing the 40th anniversary of the iconic Black Suit era of Spider-Man, the show will highlight seldom known stories from this era. Stories examining how wearing the Symbiote has changed Peter in later years will also be included. View the cover of the first issue by Leinil Francis Yu.
Marvel Characters in All Their Gory Glory: Black, White, and Blood Anthologies Explore
Starting with a four-issue miniseries on Wolverine, Marvel's Black, White and Blood series of anthologies debuted in 2020. Based on the popularity of it, Marvel has then gone on to release similar anthologies with an eye on Armageddon, Elektra, Deadpool, Moon Knight, Darth Vader, Alien and Marvel Zombies. Apart from raising the bloodshed and violence among these people, the show has also explored fresh spheres of knowledge and portrayed some quite interesting stories.
Investigating the Black Suit era of Spider-Man history is ripe. Beginning in 1984 when Spider-Man came upon an extraterrestrial outfit during the miniseries based on the Secret Wars, this story brought symbiotes to the Marvel Galaxy. Spider-Man eventually broke off from his symbiote, which would later link with Eddie Brock and develop into the famous villain/anti-hero Venom. After divorcing the symbiote, Spider-Man did, however, occasionally still dress in a black fabric outfit. The new Black, White & Blood anthology thus has more time to draw from for its stories. Whether it mostly sticks to symbiote-centered stories or not, Spider-Man's upcoming series is assured to be dark and gory in all the greatest respects.

Black Suit of the Marvel Universe
Several people who have used a spider-moniker throughout Marvel Comics are known as Spider-Man. Usually acquiring their powers from a bite of a radioactive spider, the several Spider-Man heroes use webbing to swing and tangle their enemies using super-strength, agility, and intelligence. Among these Spider-Men, Peter Parker is the most well-known and still among the most often used superheroes worldwide.
Reclaiming his Venom symbiote suit ahead of the much awaited Venom War event, Spider-Man is BLACK and looks cooler than ever.
