Armored Wolverine Cosplay: Mat's Viral Instagram Sensation

Who doesn't love Wolverine? This iconic X-Men character is known for his intense fighting skills and his signature yellow and blue costume! Recently, a talented cosplayer brought a new twist to this classic look, giving us an armored version inspired by the Deadpool & Wolverine movie.

A New Look For Wolverine

Cosplayer Mat (@visionarts), who's famous for their incredible recreations of comic book characters, unveiled this amazing new costume on Instagram. Mat has recreated other heroes, such as Batman, Spider-Man, and Spawn, but this Wolverine cosplay is seriously next-level.

The Deadpool & Wolverine Inspiration

This armored suit pays homage to Hugh Jackman's latest appearance as Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine. Wolverine usually isn't seen in armor, considering his super-healing powers! This armored version though, has the classic yellow and blue scheme but incorporates an awesome armored look, like a battle-damaged superhero.

The attention to detail is simply incredible! It even pays homage to other Wolverine looks. Like his all adamantium armor and some truly interesting items he wore!

The pictures, taken by Aarica Brittany (@_aaricabrittanyphotography_), show off every angle of this phenomenal costume. You get to see the textured fabric, those battle scars and everything that looks just like it jumped right off the screen. There’s one image with those awesome adamantium claws ready for action.

Mat has really captured the essence of Wolverine with this cosplay. If you check out their feed, you'll find they have a knack for recreating popular comic characters perfectly and creating truly accurate costumes, especially if you look through some of their DC Comics and other amazing adaptations. From Tim Drake's Robin, Beast Boy, and a League of Shadows-inspired Batman.

And, they are certainly not limited just to the characters from one world. You can also see some amazing renditions of Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Spider-Punk, Spawn and even Invincible. This means they bring not only skill but versatility to recreate anything! Their work showcases just what they're able to do in the real world to make amazing costumes.
