It's also a good thing All for One never discovered the potential of this Quirk since it might have drastically turned things in his advantage.
All For One is imprisoned in Tartarus throughout the Shie Hassaikai arc, hence blind to the actions outside involving the League of Villains. Though they knew Chisaki had these Quirk-deleting bullets and they were subsequently able to manufacture some on their own, the League of Villains members actually never know where the Quirk employed in those bullets came from. Consequently, even Shigaraki and the League could not have told All for One of Eri's existence, and hence the dictator never learned what enormous power this child possessed.
Eri's Quirk in All for One's Hands Might Have Made Everything Different.
Should All for One discover Eri's Quirk, he most certainly would have given stealing it top importance. After all, One of All for One's main objectives was to construct himself a new body which was essentially eternal; he had to accomplish this since his previous body was in such terrible shape following All Might. All for One could just Rewind himself to a younger age, restoring his physique to its physical prime and thereby ensuring he would hardly even require Shigaraki.
All for One does use a serum created from Eri's Quirk to de-age himself during the Final War arc, but he has no control over it; it finally Rewinds him back to being a baby, then out of existence totally. Should All for One get the original Quirk, Doctor Garaki could have examined it closely, maybe enabling him to create a more exact serum with the same de-aging effect without running the danger of completely eradicating himself. Without considering Rewind's possible offensive applications, that alone would have drastically changed the direction of the last battle.

Eri's Quirk might have given All for One an impossible edge. He could have used it to de-age himself, so enabling him to rule the heroes for decades and physically perfect himself. He might have also used it to take Quirks, not only from individuals but also by undoing their evolution back to their natural form, rendering them helpless. Eri's appearance might have drastically changed My Hero Academia's balance of power and bestowed upon All for One the ultimate triumph.
