Agatha All Along Finale Recap: WandaVision Spinoffs and Marvel TV Get Weird!

Remember how some folks walked out of Barbie like, "How did they DO that?!" Well, that's me after Agatha All Along. This show totally blew my expectations out of the water. I thought we'd get a fun, but standard Marvel series. You know, some cool Kathryn Hahn moments, a CGI battle, the usual. Nope not so much. But even cooler!

Instead, we got a bold, self-assured story that sidestepped all those Marvel tropes! So thankful we were spared a bunch more endless “blue sky battle fights.” Instead this stands purely as a contained event and even more impactful even than some big cross-overs like across previous MCU films! Rather in Agatha even some key, earlier twists during WandaVision which previously made several confusing parts start really working even and surprisingly now feel rather logical given everything rather than something shoe-horned into film too at those times.. Its another really great reason they made these mini shows rather than needing cram further additional hours across their films which already push well beyond several average run-times also to detriment at times! Its super refreshing seeing smaller content made entirely as themselves only also.

These final two episodes? Buckle up! They get intense right out from episode one. We find both Jen and Agatha reeling and more heartbroken by Lilas self-sacrifice.. The tone immediately shifts though by moving through "that immediate grief from the cold stark reality regarding those irreversible impacts.. Jen looks "just destroyed," and even usually sassy “Agatha looks entirely rattled rather than any forms feigning stoic or pretending otherwise unlike previously either” where there usually a quick comeback or retort either regardless immediate context surrounding her otherwise which feels both jarring too by observing that now across episodes! Despite seeing some raw emotion from Hahns performance unlike any other too!. Even more surprising though Rio rather than appearing immediately vengeful instead simply looked almost “wounded deeply.” So both sides now appear “facing entirely raw parts even, towards next parts either.. This changed so fast!

And then the tea gets spilled! Rio reveals they’re “Lady Death,” as some may speculate previously rather than it merely "an online forum chatter either”. Now also there were more prior online posts since the premier too.

Rather now viewer too now only better appreciating “Death herself and why someone of her respective lineage could still have an ex.

Everything unravels as Road structure entirely fractures once Lilas “gone completely!”. Even “basic traversal now means teleporting backwards despite those prior movements also after the coven splinters. They're basically stranded at the Road start despite their prior “movements also.. Billy so upset he’s willing abandon everything simply put back on shoes they were supposed keep behind.. In some stroke as “audience and viewers now too come understand further!” next he somehow then ends amidst “some completely “random”, and absolutely unknown bright white area with Agatha & Jen despite previous episodes being so vibrant in colorful tone rather than being here “amongst what looks eerily close by similar description now.” Rather this show truly mastered such drastic style changing elements rather well that normally requires either different creative heads and larger director changes or different production timelines.. Unlike so much previous typical MCU Tv production these did each “new idea, in fresh, cool way. ”

After “Jen also exits with powers they each sort methods of escape too but they don’t really work! Agatha decides meditation time where Billie then also begins searching Tommys spiritual signature from anywhere despite not remembering those previous moments spent earlier.. There were “some truly touching, emotional cues visually!” by flashing through both audial memories from the WandaVision close which showed just how very powerful his respective bond must still appear by visualizing as something stronger and even more persistent either too through how little brother ultimately still persisted either, as part too Billie himself either that despite the passage even too still appeared somehow during such subtle animation style here which really shows how well thought the visual team decided rather rather than needing always such extremely visually loud presentations as previously either or just showing his eyes glowing too strongly while still inside this bright area also!. Despite previous viewers not expecting much for Tommys character since initially introduction even since such young age when we first witnessed as mere “vision from his respective origins alongside Scarlet!” rather now in Agatha rather those earlier character portrayals start working way better!. From here he found rather there another Tommys also rather than him simply returning immediately since Westview, but during pool outside, since Billie feels his little “brother presence most strongly there which guides him outward rather too unlike expected exit! Rather than those obvious “gates from “that trial space!” too, and without requiring assistance here since Lilas died helping them find exits unlike for others either.

Agatha still has Rio issue since outside rather “Death tornado.” A final showdown which I worried, might be some lackluster CGI effects like earlier Doctor Strange for example…nope rather this becomes truly awesome where everyone rather watching the viscerally gory ending!. Aubrey Plaza also so fantastic chewing scenery as a truly angry and powerful God “Death!”. Even though they can’t stay immortal their end really gets done uniquely.. Which reminds me even better how awesome earlier plaza scenes in prior movies feel once going back.

Billy comes with help. Even returns her some “magical” rather than selfishly consuming for selfish means either, Agatha “surprises even Death too, unlike previously!” when offering her “self since such powerful magic holder,” to exit easily from trial! Although Rio simply doesn’t also… why?! Rather Rio says Billie must show cause regarding this unnatural "life, rather than just being born or simply existing!”. While pondering suddenly his entire mind rather goes “blown as he begins confronting some dark prior unknown, secret event since younger age before ever too receiving power and prior becoming young wiccan!. What he observes truly terrible where “Mom ultimately may hold more fault for the death” than earlier stated…!. Rather now Billie “understands more than expected! He still decides giving all to “Death” for judgement rather than attempting fight Rio further!.
