Boruto Two Blue Vortex: Shared Pain, Shared Karma? The Mind-Blowing Theory

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex's Mind-Bending Twist: Is It All in Boruto's Head?

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex – A Shared Fate or a Shared Pain?

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is intense! We’ve got crazy alien powers, those powerful Otsutsuki clan techniques, and an insane amount of action in the Hidden Leaf Village.  One particularly wild ability introduced recently—Eida’s Omnipotence—changes reality to match the user's perception. It was used to swap Boruto and Kawaki’s places before the timeskip and changed many aspects around the hidden Leaf.  But that may only be the tip of the iceberg, as chapter 14 hints at something even crazier—Omnipotence might be linking Boruto and Kawaki on a much deeper level.

We’ve already got many clues about what could happen from Masashi Kishimoto’s universe! And it would appear that these creators decided that a new angle; taking advantage of what has transpired previously; would further contribute toward creating even greater amounts of tension, speculation and mystery within those various plot points found in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga. These questions only generate more interest, making this topic really stand out amongst the larger discussions already surrounding the Naruto universe, which fans really enjoy.

Boruto's Pain: A Reflection of Kawaki's Past?

After a brutal beating from Jura in chapter 13Boruto is imprisoned and tortured by Ibiki Morino. The physical abuse; being smashed against a table, punched in the face and stomach are serious moments; particularly in a series that hasn't shied away from physical pain. Yet, it's more intense because of those moments where those scenes exactly mirror earlier attacks suffered by Kawaki!

Check these similarities: Kawaki's been seriously injured multiple times; that first fight (chapter 2) and Jura's attack in chapter 8 both inflicted major blows; his face, jaw and stomach all were injured during different times – and that’s just from the early manga chapters alone. Then he receives a similar blow during chapter 9, demonstrating the similarities inherent between both character arcs. The injuries are amazingly similar! It appears the show intended it!

Could Eida’s Omnipotence be linking Boruto and Kawaki psychologically, Boruto experiencing Kawaki’s pain?  It would fully explain why Boruto experienced that same abuse. And it also means Kawaki might also get hurt in later storylines. The shared injury possibility generates huge interest; a massive mind-blowing theory if shown correct. That mind-blowing connection and what it might really mean could possibly reshape the story and its intended direction, for the very next arcs and storylines in the Two Blue Vortex saga.

Karma's Connection: The Otsutsuki's Ominous Mark

The Karma marks— given to Boruto and Kawaki by the Otsutsuki —are deeply mysterious! The Otsutsuki could use this mark to inhabit and drain humans to be reborn— an incredibly horrific yet undeniably impressive skill. It’s an incredibly brutal, horrific use of magic. The key power aspect, Karma, grants Otsutsuki abilities and survives even if that invasion fails; demonstrating this enormous skill set only partially described up until Two Blue Vortex. Those abilities weren't always consistent but are made clearer after several years had passed and other events were explained throughout various side storylines and supplemental details that made the larger mysteries make more sense.

Yet the Karma’s name hasn’t fully been explored, adding even more intrigue! The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga confirmed this sibling-like bond via Karma.  Activating one also triggers the other – why this ominously-named mark exists is important—it may link those injuries!  That connection would clearly imply that whenever Kawaki gets hurt, Boruto’s Karma reacts; triggering his shared pain; making Boruto experiencing the same traumatic experiences and those pain moments.

Eida’s Omnipotence might've boosted the Karma connection too. This mystical ability involves injection of cells from Shibai (an immensely powerful Otsutsuki god); this enormous power source amplifying the power of these Karma marks.
