The Mario & Sonic Olympic Games series appears to be on break. There isn't any fresh Mario & Sonic game for the Paris 2024 events as they are under progress. This is a quite significant event given the pair hasn't attended the summer Olympics since 2004!
Sales have been declining gradually in the series; the most recent addition, Tokyo 2020, outperforms the others most likely because of the Switch's great popularity. It might resurfaced some point in the future, maybe on the next Nintendo system. We can always recall the enjoyment we experienced with the games we already own till then!
