The Beginning After the End Anime: Finally, a manhwa Masterpiece Gets the Adaptation It Deserves!
Huge news for fans of epic isekai fantasy manhwa! The Beginning After the End (TBATE), the webcomic written by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23, is officially getting an anime adaptation! This was announced at New York Comic Con during a Crunchyroll panel, along with the first trailer. This was a major reveal that got fans everywhere incredibly excited. This series has already achieved immense popularity. For years, it’s been called a rival to the massively popular Solo Leveling and its official announcement has only increased how much people care.
TBATE season 1 will be 24 episodes, split into two cours, slated for release in 2025. The animation is from Studio A-CAT; and the series is set for release on Crunchyroll; that alone ensures it has potential for a wider fanbase. The project brings several key personnel which will matter to viewers. It is directed by Keitaro Motonaga (known for Katanagatari, School Days, and Date a Live), series composition by Takamitsu Kono, and character design by Masami Sueoka.
That initial trailer is awesome, giving us a peek into Studio A-CAT's animation style along with those incredibly engaging soundtracks from Kenji Inai (famous for his work on Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion). While Studio A-CAT isn't a super-famous studio; the studio is experienced working on titles involving intense, well-executed action and thus makes them perfect for creating a solid and great TBATE adaption. This has serious implications for how well this initial product would perform; and given this first look, it totally suggests a great result!

This will showcase Arthur's epic isekai journey which brings to life the immersive storytelling that many readers had already discovered before. TBATE has over 150 million readers globally; even surpassing Solo Leveling in the US. The creators fully recognize the importance of creating a high-quality final product. And with the anime’s impending success, this has every chance to make the original webcomic even more of a mainstream success across the entire globe, not only those existing fans, who await to see those original ideas expressed using an anime setting and those specific techniques!
