Alright, so the Serpent Society is this collection of Marvel Universe supervillains utterly consumed with snakes. Like, really, they are all about snakes, and some sort of ability they possess is tied to snakes. They are a complete gang of supervillains with snakes, not just your typical daily nasty men. Imagine a group of supervillains employing snake-like powers to wre havoc while sporting snake-skin clothing. Right now, it's very wild. This man known as "King Cobra" leads them; he is the brains behind all their wild plans.
Well, the Serpent Society is, well, the reverse of the ideal representation of good; Captain America is just such. They are hence essentially meant to collide. Though with a lot of snakes, it's like a typical good against bad confrontation. Consider it: the Serpent Society is about anarchy and devastation; Captain America is all about freedom and justice. It will be really fantastic; it's like a collision of ideals.
Each Serpent Society member thus possesses unique powers connected to snakes. There's "Asp," who can manipulate snakes, "Diamondback," who has extraordinary strength and can even spew poison from her hands, "Sidewinder," who's incredibly swift, and "Bushmaster," who's super powerful and can even strike people with his snake-like tail. They are a major menace to Captain America since they seem to be an entire arsenal of powers with snake themes.
Comics have this long history of hostility between Captain America and the Serpent Society. They have repeated head-to-head battles, and each one is always a truly epic struggle. Like Batman and the Joker or Captain America and Red Skull, they are effectively arch-enemies. Movies are showing this great rivalry come to life. Captain America will have his job cut out for him should he wish to stop this very deadly organization.
For those of Captain America's and the Serpent Society's fans, this is enormous! Marvel has an opportunity to investigate a legendary rivalry in a completely fresh approach. They're basically bringing a lot of the comics to life on film at last. Marvel is obviously dedicated to broadening the universe of Captain America and the Serpent Society is evidence of their ongoing legacy. Actually, everyone benefits from it.
Let's just say, though, the Serpent Society is not particularly renowned for their charitable activities. They resemble the evil men, the ones trying to rule the planet. Therefore, if they are in a Captain America film, they most likely are causing a lot of disturbance. It's just how they are; not a spoiler! Hey, who knows? Perhaps they have an opportunity to atone.
