This bad guy's the new Demon King! Fearing Goku and his pals' immense powers (making Gomah deeply resentful), this bad guy's primary plan involves de-aging those super powerful fighters – it dramatically changes what happens and reduces the likelihood of resistance against his attempts at tyranny! Another big goal? Finding the Evil Third Eye (a ridiculously powerful Demon King relic).

4. Degesu: The Traitor Kai

Degesu's one of those rare Core Persons; that race includes the Kais! He's Gomah's right hand, making him terrifying. What's especially wild? He’s Shin’s brother! Neva's affiliation to Gomah is intriguing; yet despite appearing initially tied to the antagonists, it could also imply he could switch sides – making it unpredictable and possibly helping the story's main characters.

1. More Familiar Faces, More Mysterious Figures

We also see Bulma, Piccolo, Krillin, Trunks, and Goten; however Gohan is missing! This unexpected absence from someone deeply entwined with that greater plot could foreshadow even bigger importance, an interesting observation to note that leaves potential implications open for his eventual return to this story arc.

There’s a few others – the Tamagami (we just get a sneak peek); and Glorio (he is supposedly the focus in episode 2). Another totally unexpected major character to later appear.
