Dragon Ball Daima: Goku's Child Form, New Villains, and a Wild New Story!

But Daima is going for something totally unique and has presented a surprise from the very first episode! Fans might recall, from the Majin Buu Saga, Gomah became the newest Demon King! This isn't some random event but what is important to consider is the big storyline! Gomah wished, with the help of Shenron, that Goku and the Z warriors turned into kids. The effect was significant because it effectively depowered them to help Gomah.

It’s not the first time Goku got turned into a kid (it happened in Dragon Ball GT too), but Gomah's plan in Dragon Ball Daima is all about strategy. Gomah, who wasn’t around during the Majin Buu Saga had to make sure he remained a formidable villain! There wasn't enough opportunity during those major arcs in earlier shows. What seems pretty cool in the initial trailer, is the de-aging and bringing some familiar faces back!

A key difference in the storyline and one you will definitely notice. He explained it this way: "a wish is a wish." These can range from some that may not harm you to the complete opposite! A “black wish”, according to Gomah’s descriptions would not just hurt someone who the wish affected. He mentions the power can even kill and create a dark and intense feeling.

Gomah cleverly created the transformation with Earth's Dragon Balls as these special “white wishes.” This was the key difference that Gomah and other characters in Dragon Ball Daima need! A specific and well defined difference from previous series. What made this plan almost fail is the guards!

The Tamagamis- The Demon Realm's Guard

This special anime and its big twist, keeps audiences wondering what could happen next! And those who were watching this knew there was a serious limitation in Gomah’s grand plan! You see the Tamagamis came into play, an awesome surprise, and possibly the key antagonists for many episodes to come, giving fans a big introduction that includes some impressive powerhouses. They weren't just powerful and have incredibly tough defenses, and what adds even more excitement, is these characters weren't really known until this newest Anime, bringing audiences a totally fresh perspective!

The series makes it apparent what makes this the big, fresh event of 2024. Dragon Ball Daima introduces a storyline that changes just about everything, reimagining just how intense a battle can really be. Toei Animation did an incredible job! Bringing back the voices from decades ago to add nostalgia for long time fans. Audiences get something very familiar that creates a very impressive anime to check out! But to note, and perhaps something you already realized, Gomah's actions, with the ability to completely reshape his world! Giving him his total dominance.
