Get ready, Dragon Ball fans! Episode 3 of Dragon Ball Daima is coming soon; this exciting new anime series which sees the beloved Z fighters—Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma (and others!) – de-aged into kids! The premise, alone, makes for many amusing and dramatic plot possibilities! This is totally nuts, but it works amazingly well!

Episode 2 shows how these changed size proportions affect the power sets from each individual – which makes the initial moments particularly amusing and intriguing; yet those problems aren't small issues— fighting becomes extremely difficult due to problems relating to balance, precision and overall fighting accuracy, leading to significant and unavoidable problems! Those intellectuals among them like Bulma remain more or less unchanged by that change to physical body size!

This new adventure finds Goku and the Supreme Kai heading to the Demon Realm, following Dende's kidnapping. A new, somewhat mysterious and currently very much unknown and unnamed character named Glorio helps out by bringing Goku and Supreme Kai to this scary new environment which leads to many unexpectedly interesting developments.

When Can You Watch Dragon Ball Daima Episode 3?

New Daima episodes drop every Friday on Crunchyroll at 10 AM Pacific Time (or 1 PM Eastern Time). That means Episode 3 arrives Friday, October 25th, 2024. It will initially have subtitles (Japanese only) because those episodes air close to Japan’s release! An English dub is planned, with the first three dubbed episodes arriving at a US theatrical event from November 10th-12th!

What Happened in Dragon Ball Daima Episode 2? A Recap!

Episode 2 starts with a bunch of surprising transformations. That de-aging wish (courtesy of Shenron) affects anyone involved during the original Majin Buu saga, including Dende and Chi-Chi! The ensuing effects and difficulties that these changes pose makes Goku’s attempts at maintaining any normalcy in his situation pretty humorous!

They eventually find Dende was kidnapped by Gomah, who took him to the Demon Realm. Trying to enter the Demon Realm involves finding and getting the Supreme Kai's ship ready and it needs Bulma's repair skill to operate – it takes ten days! Glorio suddenly appears, offering help; transporting Goku and Supreme Kai immediately to the Demon Realm; while others need to wait for the Supreme Kai’s ship repairs before entering Gomah’s lair!

Episode 3 ("Daima") shows Goku's Demon Realm debut—but there’s very limited details available! No manga source material currently exists, yet fans can totally guess some details!

Goku and Supreme Kai probably rely heavily on Glorio’s help—which might present problems considering Supreme Kai already suspects him! There is also another element revealed within Episode 2 which showcases another development. That very mention of the Supreme Kai’s brother and sister hints at exploring their complex relationships; revealing untold elements regarding his past! And these two figures joining them would suggest plenty more interesting drama to follow.

All this really sets the stage for a really thrilling encounter within a very dangerous and powerful location in Daima’s overall narrative and those hints alone makes that impending showdown incredibly significant and is certainly generating the attention many of these fans were eagerly waiting for; Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo’s arrival could completely transform how things transpire later; adding much needed tactical advantages and abilities never explored or anticipated.
