Bleach TYBW Part 3 Review: Epic Fights & Character Development!

Fans of Bleach are super excited! The Thousand-Year Blood War arc is back with part 3!

Fixing a Major Complaint

This new season addresses some problems some fans had with the manga! What was a problem before, became something special.

One of the best changes? A new fight between Uryu Ishida and Senjumaru Shutara. This gives both fighters a big chance to showcase their awesomeness.

The Premiere Episode - A

The premiere episode, simply titled "A", had some recap footage, but then BAM! A new fight scene is added! It shows us more detail and sets the stage for a special explanation of some of the differences between the manga and the anime.

Squad Zero did something incredible. They gave their lives to break a seal that would let Senjumaru use her crazy powerful Bankai (a special move) which is used to imprison Yhwach's elite guards. This happened in part 2's finale.

Fans may have wondered about that detail as the manga never had Senjumaru use this. This new anime episode showed how all that changes and it really showcases the creative efforts for this new season.

An Epic New Fight

The big question: What happens inside Senjumaru's Bankai? This fight isn't from the manga but from the anime. A new fight between Uryu and Senjumaru begins!

Uryu gets way more action than in the manga. This was a huge relief to many fans as he gets a super active role in part 3
Uryu is central! Helps free the Quincy comrades and even defeats Senjumaru just as Yhwach is getting stronger!
Senjumaru also gets some character development and gives audiences a real sense that this fight isn't one to skip!

The fight gave audiences an appreciation for these characters!

It highlights Senjumaru's crazy powers!
It makes Uryu's Schrift (another power) super impressive.
Uryu even starts to gain some really powerful abilities. Even one like Vollstandig! Other Quincy are shown doing this.

A New Direction For Uryu

Fans love Uryu but in the original manga he was often not the center of attention.

Missed the Seireitei invasion
Hardly impacted the fight between Yhwach's elites and Squad Zero

This Thousand-Year Blood War should've been his spotlight but ended up almost not in it! So the anime's decision is to make him a larger presence. It’s better storytelling for viewers!

What might impact viewers is how this enhances his feud with Ichigo!

What To Expect From Part 3

This Uryu versus Senjumaru battle really demonstrates what's in store!

It shows a unique attention to detail that many viewers really want. Bleach and its Thousand-Year Blood War arc is sure to continue to make new strides! A testament to the talent that exists to capture both Uryu and Senjumaru and their special strengths. What was so special is the quality of this new battle!

Many longtime Bleach fans hoped the anime would deliver more epic fight moments. Part 3 delivers and if you haven't yet had a chance to check it out, now is the time! It seems to be living up to expectations!
